30 years of tradition
History of R&M Automotive
The move to this 22,000 square foot facility gave Roger and Mike the chance
to expand their services to include Sales and Consignment. Many of their
clients have in the past relied on them to find suitable transportation
for themselves as well as their families. This service is now available
to the public as San Francisco AutoSport.
In 2000 R&M Automotive formed a partnership AVR Service and Johns
Jaguar, both long-time European auto specialists in San Francisco. Combined,
they continue their tradition of providing quality service and repairs
to their customers.
History of AVR Service In 1967 he and his business partner opened Continental Auto Motif Service,
specializing in the repair of European automobiles. In 1970 Albert changed
the name of the business to AVR Service and shifted the focus to Porsche,
BMW and Mercedes autos.
Today Albert is well respected in Porsche circles. He has one of the most
loyal customer bases in the city and—at age 64—is as passionate about
fine European autos as when he was when he first entered the business.
History of John's Jaguar
John has an excellent reputation, which has gained him many loyal customers
over the years and he continues to provide the same quality of service
today.
All of us at here at San Francisco AutoSport, R&M Automotive, AVR
Service and John's Jaguar believe Tony would be proud of our progress.
